REVIEWS

Mick – “Well E.P., I kinda found the album a bit like the two sides of Therapy. I was not keen on the first two tracks to be honest, I think that’s the slightly heavier side of Therapy that I’m not mad keen on. It feels like two different bands at times for me and I seem to be drawn to the quieter, more Manics-type style of their songs, if that makes sense.
That being said Callow is by far my favourite – great song, really catchy the whole way through, some heavy base playing, sounds great. Expelled and Crutch are probably the heaviest I like I’d say.
The one thing that stood out on the album for me, slower or heavier songs, is the drums are great the whole way through, especially on No Sunshine and on the tail end of Success? Success Is Survival. It’s amazing I must say.
Enjoyed the listen and have defo added a few to my favourites playlist, but not sure how many times I’d go back to listen the full album if I’m honest.”

Molly – “Really liked the album. Bit on the short side. Left me wanting more after it, which I suppose is a good thing.
Agree with Mick – the drummer is defo one of the hardest working men in music!
Best song for me is Wreck It Like Beckett. Harks back to Screamager.”

Spud – “Couldn’t disagree more with Molly. For me, like Mick, the first two songs are the worst. Didn’t like the music or the lyrics. As the week wore on, I started listening to the album from #3 on. That made the album even shorter, which I was quite happy about.
There were times when I thought ‘This song isn’t bad’ but when I checked Spotify it had moved onto another Therapy album, or a different band altogether. It’s just not for me.”

Sol – “I thought it was a great rock album, plenty of air guitar and head banging moments for me while listening to it, particularly through I Stand Alone.
Totally agree with Mick – some epic drumming throughout it. Not sure it’s quite a start to finish album for me (yet). Callow is probably my favourite song.”
